Visions from the Upside Down: Stranger Things Artbook

Netflix, joined hands with Printed in Blood and Penguin/Del Rey to bring a 250 pages hardcover artbook in celebration of the science fiction horror TV show Stranger Things.

In Visions from the Upside Down, more than two hundred artists, from areas like comics, illustration, fine art, videogames, and animation turned into paper their interpretation of the eldritch tainted 80’s nostalgia driven town of Hawkins, Indiana.

Edgar Ascensão, the portuguese ilustrator famous for Posters Caseiros (Home-made posters) is one of the chosen ones to bring is vision to the book. Together with the illustration each artist had to provide a non-disclosure agreement so the drawings stay secret until the launching 15th October (pre-orders here).
And the good thing is: since this artbook is recognized by Netflix, the artists (including Edgar Ascensão) can sell prints of your favourite imagens.

However, the Portuguese Portal managed to lift a little bit of the veil. Enjoy:

A lesser sketch of the idea. Edgar guaranteed us the feeling is there, but the final artworks is much different.
